It sounds to me like something from the 80s!

personally i find the song really annoying, but it’s in the same vein as a few songs from the 60s.

the first cut is the deepest, for instance.

love and hate are just opposites though, they can’t exist without one another, so they’re totally entwined.

like if there was no death, then we would never truly enjoy life.

That is a very deep thought.I think its not about hate but about when you love someone uncondtionally but if they dont love you back ,you almost hate them, but you love them to much to hate them so your hate turns into pain.
So actually yeh the song is intwined with hate actually!

Love is NOT the opposite of hate. The opposite is ‘indifference’ ~ of being totally without any interest in relation to another.

As for what the lyrics mean….! I’ve no idea, don’t know the song and, I would suggest that the one person who likely Knows (= ‘empirical knowledge’) is whoever it was who wrote it.

People can only actually bleed for as long as there is blood in the veins…… although, it is said that we can ‘bleed emotionally’ too.

That kind of bleeding is needed when there is a passion, but it too has its own lifespan. Immortality lasts only for as long as Life continues to be experienced.

    Sash.

I wasn’t aware it was an “ever lasting success”???? In fact I am not even aware of the song.

However most songs are like poetry or literature, and you take from them any meaning they have for you.

The only person who can tell you what the definitive meaning of the song is will be whoever wrote it.

It’s about putting your whole being into the person you love, and how he/she treads on it as if it were nothing. It will tear you apart, but you keep going back to it. I’m sure many people can relate to that

Yes, we all can..it is a guestion how you feel …I think that this song shows deep emontions twisted with fear and happiness in the same time and besides being cut open we all get back to who we really love.
