Why do people say Alexandra Burke is a copy of Leona and Beyonce when Leona is a copy of Mariah?

People say that we already have Leona and Beyonce, we don’t need another one, we don’t need Alex.

But when Leona won the X Factor no one pointed out that she was a copy of Mariah Carey.

Don’t get me wrong, I love both Leona and Alexandra, in fact I have Leona’s album and Footprints in the Sand single plus her calender, but I am just saying.
It’s true – although I love them both it’s not fair that Alex is getting all the stick when Leona isn’t.

just curious cuz i was listening to leona lewis’ song yesterday and she hits a high note towards the end and runs with it pretty well. Now i know i have a high voice for a guy, some ppl say like a ne-yo/justin timberlake combo cuz of the highness, so i guess i was wondering how i can do what she does in the song. Thanks ppl

I’ve read in some magazines that Leona Lewis has one of the greatest voices in the music industry and that she has been compared to nearly all the greats. Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilara and Celine Dion. I think her voice is absolutely sensational and has the potential to be a diva.
