One of the most rewarding hikes in the Uk-Drakensberg must be the Sentinel route to the top of the Amphitheatre. From the Witsieshoek car park a well maintained path takes you zigzagging up the back of the Sentinel, with awe inspiring views down into the Royal Natal National Park and across to the eastern side of the Amphitheatre (view of Devils Peak) and then onto the chain ladders which get over…
