I see that they are promoting this year’s X Factor winner, Alexandra Burke’s single as ‘Hallelujah’. But shouldn’t it be Alleluia? Isn’t that what Leonard Cohen called it?

I heard there is an internet campaign to reclaim the Christmas No. 1 from Simon Cowel and co by getting Jeff Buckley’s version (and beautifully haunting version) to No, 1 over the X factor winner

i was just looking on youtube and there was this weird old guy who’s already done a version! he’s not even very good at singing. he’d never have got onto x factor.

Am I the only one who thinks Alexandra Burke has ruined hallelujah?

I personally love that song and think Alexandra has tarnished the it
her voice doesn’t fit the tune personally if anyone should have sung it it should have been JLS who had the right harmonies.

Plus are any places I can protest?
